The Cute Cathedral Cube
The Cute Cathedral Cube
Adventures with the Cathedral Window sewing style can take you all kinds of unexpected places.
I've loved coming up with different ideas for places where a window would shine. While I can't adventure very far at the moment physically, my imagination knows no bounds. We both have this luxury you and I, and no one can take it away!
Fresh from my imagination to you comes my latest pattern, the Cute Cathedral Cube.
This little boxy pouch stars another cathedral window perfect for showcasing your favourite fussy cut. It's an intermediate level sewing project that features the same easy method for assembling the window component as my early projects.
It measures 4" x 2" x 2" (10cm x 5cm x 5cm). See second image for materials list.
If you can't find a suitable fussycut, you can try designing your own with embroidery and buttons. To successfully complete this pouch you'll need to be able to insert a zipper, sew with fusible foam and use single fold binding to bind the internal seams.
I've packed my cube with notions and the sturdy construction means that you can work it hard, while enjoying its cuteness. I can't wait to see what lovely creations you come up with!
